Pregnant Keke Palmer attemped to “take it easy” on a tropical babymoon with her boyfriend, Darius Jackson, ahead of their first child’s arrival.
The former Disney Channel star posted restful photos via Instagram on Tuesday, from a sunny beach day to an outdoor breakfast beside a koi fish pond.
In one shot, Palmer, 29, smiled in a brown one-piece bathing suit while cradling her baby bump.
“happy new year,” she captioned the social media slideshow. “baby moon was in full affect [sic].”
The “True Jackson VP” alum went on to gush about how “proud” she felt for sticking to her “theme of the season … which is, rest.”
She explained, “i have spent many seasons sacrificing and i am quite fine with that … but every season we are meant to embrace something new.
“this season i am going to learn how to really take it easy,” the “Nope” star continued. “how to go slow(or slower than i have which is speedy for the average ♍️💁🏾♀️- 🤣) because … everything that’s going to come is already in motion. all i have to do is enjoy.”

Palmer’s loved ones praised her mindset in the comments section, with Queen Latifah telling her to “rest and relax” while “cultivating greatness.”

Sherri Shepherd added, “Embrace rest because when the Baby is here — the word ‘rest’ goes out the window! welcome to motherhood!”
Palmer’s trip with Jackson, 28, came one month after she debuted her budding belly during her “Saturday Night Live” monologue.

“This has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited guys,” the Emmy winner gushed in the December 2022 episode. “I’m gonna be a mom.”
Jackson subsequently posted a photo of his pregnant partner via his Instagram Stories, writing, “2023 ❤️.”
While the couple have kept their romance private since meeting in the summer of 2021, Palmer did tell Bustle in March 2022 that she felt “happiest” with the fitness instructor.
The “Jump In!” star no longer felt the need to “hide” her love for Jackson, explaining to the outlet that secrecy took “a lot more work than just living in [her] life.”
