Dressed in a stylish oversized silver jacket, Lulu radiated at the TV Quick Awards.

She opted for casual-chic, and completed her look with black trousers, shades and trainers.

Smiling for the camera, the legendary star looked happy and relaxed.

It comes just days after Lulu revealed she is set to retire, and will hit the road for the final time on her Champagne For Lulu tour in April.

Speaking to Gyles Brandreth on his Rosebud podcast, out on Friday, she says: “This is actually – I’m announcing it for the first time now – this is my farewell tour, with family, and friends.

“Because last year I did a tour that was kind of gruelling – it was successful, it went well – but you need an army to be a success in your career these days.”

The final show will be at the London Palladium on April 17, marking the 60th anniversary of her hit single Shout, released when she was just 15.

During her incredible career, the Scottish star has had ten Top Ten singles including Relight My Fire with Take That.

She sang the title track for the 1974 James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun and won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1969 with her song Boom Bang-a-Bang.

Speaking about her upcoming tour, she said: “I’m not going to tell you exactly what I’m going to do, but of course I’ll have to do Boom Bang-a-Bang.

“The audience want to do it by themselves anyway.

“You can’t not give people what they want – and more.

“If you’ve ever seen me on tour, just let me say, you won’t have seen me like this.”

Explaining her decision to retire from touring, she explained: “Last year I did a tour that was kind of gruelling.

“It was successful, it went well, but you need an army to be a success in your career these days.”

Suggesting she may concentrate on her acting, she added: “And I felt unsupported.

“But then I turned 75, and I thought, ‘You know what, I want to carry on working, but I want to do it a different way’.

“I’ve learned. And I’ve also become a slightly different person.

“I’m not afraid to be vulnerable.”
