Pippa Middleton looked ready to celebrate the season in a forest green lace dress with red accessories as she made a rare red carpet appearance at the British Heart Foundation’s Heart Hero Awards in London Wednesday night.
Kate Middleton’s 40-year-old sister — who has served as an ambassador for the British Heart Foundation since 2014 — wore a festive green lace midi dress ($510 $175) by one of her royal sibling’s favorite brands, Self-Portrait, for the event.
The puff-sleeved dress featured twisted detail at the neck and a ribbon belt at the waist along with a tiered skirt, and she kept the Christmas colors going with red accessories from another label beloved by the Princess of Wales.
Pippa — who gave birth to her third child with billionaire husband James Matthews earlier this year — chose the same bright red Emmy London Natasha clutch ($425) her sister owns, adding a pair of matching red Rebecca pumps ($490) from the designer.
Perhaps she borrowed the Princess of Wales’ bag as Kate has more than a dozen varieties of the suede clutch in her royal wardrobe.

And while the royal hasn’t worn Pippa’s exact red hue, the princess has sported the same Emmy London Rebecca heels in eight different shades over the years.

Wednesday night marks the first public appearance for the royal sibling in quite some time; she was last seen wearing an elegant yellow ensemble at the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla in May.
While Pippa hasn’t been out and about lately, she was spotted rocking some tiny bikinis ahead of her 40th birthday in September while enjoying an Italian vacation with her husband.
She also showed off a dramatic ruffled red gown while attending a wedding in Lake Como during the same trip.
This week is proving to be a lucky one for Pippa fans, as the supportive sister will likely make her third annual appearance at the Princess of Wales’ Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey on Friday.
