PETER Andre’s wife Emily said her marriage is “stronger than ever” despite him spending months away from home.
The NHS doctor – who married the Mysterious Girl singer back in 2015 – said their busy schedules can often clash, leaving them with little quality time together.

But Emily admitted that the distance is not a problem, saying they often make a special effort to squeeze in date nights when they reunite – even if they have to plan it months down the line.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Emily said: “We are really boring, I usually stay in.
“Pete’s really busy with work, I’m really with work.
“We went away together to Dubai to celebrate his 50th birthday – we had a week away from the kids and a week with the kids, which was amazing.
“We did a few extra bits to celebrate – we’re going to try and get a night away together at some point.
“I said to him what do you want for your birthday and he said that all he wants is a night away with you.
“We haven’t gone yet, he’s been too busy – at some point in May.
“I’m trying to find a day that Pete’s off and from now till August he’s got about three Saturday’s.”
She continued: “He hasn’t been this busy in years, it’s crazy.
“He’s doing loads of different things and it’s one after the next – he’ll finish one thing and then there’s something else.
“He finished a movie today, he’s got TV shows, he’s got so many things internationally and then he’s in Australia in the middle of a tour.”

Emily also revealed the sweet thing she does when Pete is not there.
“I always miss him when he’s away,” she told us at the No7 Future Renew launch event.
“Tonight he’s at home babysitting which never happens, the kids are really excited.
“When he’s not there, I literally leave his side of the bed completely untouched – the cushions are still there, so in the night I almost feel that he’s still there.
“I literally just sleep in a straight line.
“He’s always gone away a lot since we’ve been together but I always miss him.”
The mum-of-two said that her marriage has only grown stronger over the years, saying they have both adjusted to each other’s busy lifestyle.
Asking if the distance can be a problem, Emily said: “No because he’s away for little bits, he’s never away for a long period of time.
“We always make time for each other, we just get on with it really.
“He was away last night and I was awake till one in the morning and texting him ‘I couldn’t sleep’.”
Peter and Emily tied the knot in 2015 at Mamhead House in Exeter.
The couple now have two children together, nine-year-old Amelia and Theo, six.
Emily is also stepmum to Pete’s kids from his relationship with Katie Price, son Junior 17, and 15-year-old daughter Princess.
