TWENTY seven years ago Peter Andre became every teenage girl’s dream man following the success of his hit single, Mysterious Girl.
But behind his success and his ripped torso, Peter, who turned 50 last month, has revealed that his strict eating habits and the fact that he had zero body fat, meant that he was constantly ill.

The father of four revealed the shocking truth while on Loose Women. Speaking to the panel including Coleen Nolan and Linda Robson he said: “At that period of time I felt great I was watching everything I ate I was doing everything you’re told you’re supposed to do.”
He added: “But I was getting sick a lot and getting colds all the time, my brothers would say ‘what, you’re sick again?'”
The video attached to the song sees Peter standing in the sea topless, as he showed off his six-pack torso.
He continued: “Then when I stepped away from that image and my 30s came, even late 20s, I went the opposite way and put on three stone.”

Peter, who is now married to Emily and has two children with her, was once married to Katie Price who is mum to Junior and Princess. The pair became one of the most famous couples in the UK but Pete called time on their marriage in 2009.
It looks as though Peter is still an idol but this time to his son Junior, who has decided to follow in the footsteps of his dad by launching his own music career.
Peter claimed that he made Junior wait until he was 16 until he was allowed to sign to a record company.
During his chat with the Loose Women stars, he added: “I’m so proud of him. He has a deal with Columbia. I wouldn’t let him sign until he was 16 which was exactly the same age I signed my deal.”
He added: “He’s gonna do amazing he works so hard. He just woke up by the way, he just got up and made a pizza for breakfast.”
