Pete Davidson’s alleged stalker unfit to stand trial

Pete Davidson will have to wait to see his stalker behind bars.

Michelle Mootreddy, who broke into Pete Davidson’s New York City home back in March 2021, has been deemed “unfit to stand trial” and “placed in the custody of a psychiatric facility.”

The Staten Island District Attorney confirmed to TMZ in a statement on Wednesday that Mootreddy “will receive treatment and regular evaluations to determine whether or not she is able to return and participate in her defense.”

A rep for Davidson did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Mootreddy was arrested in March 2021 after she allegedly snuck into the comedian’s Staten Island home.

According to police sources, she knocked on the door and his mom, Amy Waters Davidson, answered before telling her to leave. However, Mootreddy wouldn’t take no for an answer and snuck in through a side door.

When police arrived, Mootreddy allegedly told them she had “a telepathic love connection” with Pete, 29.

In addition to breaking and entering, Mootreddy was accused of barraging the “Suicide Squad” star with unwanted gifts and issuing a fake press release stating that she and Davidson had tied the knot.

An attorney for the comedian told Page Six at the time that the marriage news was “completely false.”

“Not a word of it is true,” the lawyer told us in a statement. “Mr. Davidson has no idea who this person is. We are investigating and considering all legal and equitable remedies.”

Mootreddy was subsequently charged with burglary in the second and third degree, two misdemeanor counts of stalking, and two misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and harassment.

A judge also ordered Mootreddy to stay away from Davison and his family.
