It felt like a lunch out of the “Twilight Zone” — or maybe just the Beltway — when Paul and Nancy Pelosi bumped into other powerful politicians at the Loews Regecy Hotel in New York last week.
“It wasn’t planned. It was something out of the ‘Twilight Zone’ that they were in the same town, same restaurant at the same time,” a source told Page Six of the Pelosis running into Rep. Barbara Lee and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries at the haute haunt.
The Pelosis both greeted Rep. Lee when they arrived and, “Paul was in a good mood. He looked like he was doing fine. He was very friendly and seemed to be having fun,” our spy said.
We hear he even joked about the serendipitous meeting, saying, “We’re at the ‘Loews Congressional Caucus.’ Everyone seems to be in the same room at the same time,” the source related.
Jeffries was seated at another table lunching with his team, but still partook in the fun. We’re told, “they were tall talking about Barbara’s big race,” the source said.

Lee is running to replace California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who announced her retirement last month. She’s in a tight race with Rep. Adam Schiff, who announced his campaign earlier this year.
Nancy and Paul have maintained a pretty active social life since she stepped down as House Speaker in January, and he continues to recover from a vicious hammer attack at his home last October.
Spies recently caught them lunching at Balthazaar in New York’s Soho neighborhood, where Paul appeared “healthy and robust.”
