Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany are over the moon!
The couple revealed the sex of their pending bundle of joy on Instagram Friday by sharing a video of a cute game of tic-tac-toe.
“Baby Mahomes #3 is a….” they captioned the post.
In the clip, their daughter Sterling, 3, playfully turned over a set of three pink Xs on the board, signifying that the couple is expecting another girl.
Pink smoke and confetti flew into the air as the family celebrated. Sterling also held a “big sister” flag.
The fitness trainer showed off her growing baby bump while wearing a flowing maxi dress. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 28, sported an all-white ensemble.
Patrick and Brittany, 28, are also parents to 1-year-old son Bronze.
The young parents revealed they were expecting earlier this month with a joint Instagram post showing a new ultrasound picture.
“Round three, here we come 🤍,” they captioned the photo at the time.
On July 16, Patrick told reporters that he was “done” having kids with his wife after they welcome baby No. 3.
“I’m done,” he said with a smile. “I’ll say that. I said three and I’m done.”
Though, he added that being a dad is “awesome.”
“I always wanted to have kids young,” Patrick said. “We’re having our third kid now to join our family, and Brittany does a great job of doing that, and we still go out and enjoy our life and let our kids see these great things.”
