Just lately the veteran rocker seems to have been getting his dress sense from females over the age of 50.
Yesterday we printed pictures of Rod looking like a gran, sporting a floral scarf and a Tesco signature blue coat as he launched his new tipple, Wolfie’s Whisky, in the supermarket.
It’s the latest dodgy look from Rod, 79, as we investigate how he has been getting style tips in the most unlikely places.
From Pat Butcher to Mrs Doubtfire, as well as a couple of former Prime Ministers, he clearly thinks these ladies Wear It Well . . .
Blondes have more fun
With the possible exception of EastEnders misery Pat Butcher, though she did inspire Rod’s 2011 black and pink garb – he could have looked butcher.

Looks like Rod really was Keeping Up With The Kardashians with this black and white suit like momager Kris Jenner’s for Jools Holland’s show.

Movie icon Mrs Doubtfire’s beige knitwear was the muse for Rod and wife Penny’s 13th-anniversary trip to Paris.
