Olivia Nuzzi gets no-contact order against ex Ryan Lizza, accuses him of exposing her tryst with RFK Jr.

Olivia Nuzzi has been granted a no-contact order against her ex-fiancé, Ryan Lizza.

According to an August filing that was obtained by CNN Tuesday, Nuzzi, 31, accused Lizza — a prominent political journalist with Politico — of threatening to release her personal information, and even hacking into one of her electronic devices, to blackmail her.

Specifically, Nuzzi claimed Lizza, 50, “explicitly threatened to make public personal information about [her] to destroy [her] life, career, and reputation — a threat he has since carried out.”

She also accused Lizza of using a “third party or anonymous channel” to tip off her employer that she had been romantically involved with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Nuzzi also claimed in her complaint that Lizza began strategically harassing her in July to force her to stay in a relationship with him.

In addition to hacking into her personal electronic device, she accused her ex-fiancé of sharing “doctored” information about her to the media and impersonating “an anonymous campaign operative” to spread political information to damage her reputation further.

Furthermore, Nuzzi alleged Lizza threatened her with violence “to assume his share of financial responsibility” for a joint book contract they shared.

Lizza denied the allegations in a statement to The Post Tuesday.

“I am saddened that my ex-fiancée would resort to making a series of false accusations against me as a way to divert attention from her own personal and professional failings,” he said.

“I emphatically deny these allegations and I will defend myself against them vigorously and successfully.”

Following Nuzzi’s harassment and blackmail claims, The Post confirmed that Lizza will be taking a leave of absence from Politico.

“Politico and Ryan Lizza have mutually agreed that it is in everyone’s best interest for him to step back and take a leave of absence while an investigation is conducted,” the outlet said in a statement.

A court hearing has been set for Oct. 15.

Nuzzi, who got engaged to Lizza in September 2022, has been granted a police escort to collect her belongings from the apartment the former couple shared.

Page Six has reached out to Nuzzi and Lizza for comment.

Last month, Nuzzi was placed on leave from her role as New York Magazine’s Washington correspondent after she admitted that she “engaged in a personal relationship with a former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign while she was reporting on the campaign.”

Sources previously told The Post that Nuzzi and RFK Jr. had been “sexting” at the beginning of the year.

A spokesperson for the former presidential candidate, who’s married to Cheryl Hines, denied that RFK Jr. was ever involved with Nuzzi and claimed they only met “once in his life” when the reporter profiled him last fall.

However, the independent politician, 70, is reportedly considering legal action against Nuzzi after she allegedly “bombarded him with increasingly pornographic photos and videos,” according to a mutual friend.

Nuzzi never named RFK Jr. in her public admission nor in her court filing.
