A NOUGHTIES rock band have been forced to scrap their UK tour days before it starts.
The one-hit wonders were set to play a handful of dates across the country yet “sensitive personal reasons” have put a stop to their plans.

Now American-based group Iglu and Hartly have revealed the reason for the cancellation of the In This City tour, set to kick off in Southend tomorrow, August 14.
Frontman Jarvis Anderson wrote on Instagram: “I am devastated to have to say this, but I have to cancel our UK tour – for sensitive personal reasons received late last night, which are completely beyond our control.
“We are absolutely heartbroken that we are unable to put on these incredible shows for you all at this time, but please be assured as soon as things are settled we will be immediately looking at ways we can work towards revisiting in the UK in the near future.”
After their Essex tour date, the group was set to travel to London the following day, before arriving in Bristol on August 16.
The group, famed for the hit In This City, were then scheduled to play in Birmingham on August 17, Cambridge on August 19 and Liverpool on August 20.
It would have wrapped with dates in Glasgow on August 23 and Newcastle on August 24.
Fans were quick to react to the news on Instagram and one wrote: “Gutted, but the party will just be postponed, take care and I really hope you’re okay!! All the love in the world to you.”
A second put: “Heartbreaking news take all the time you need when you’re ready to come back to the uk and tours all back on the fans will be waiting much love m8.”
A third wrote: “Big love bro.”
One then added: “Devastating indeed, but us fans are here waiting for when it’s rescheduled. Hope all ok, sending love.”
IGLU’S SUCCESS STORY
The band formed as a trio in 2008 with members Jarvis Anderson, Sam Martin and Simon Katz.
They rocketed to success with catchy track In This City – dubbed an “anthem in the making” by an NME blogger.
It gave the “joyful pop song” an eight out of 10 in its ratings.
Meanwhile, the track peaked at number five in the UK charts – with an instrumental version also used regularly on BBC show, Match of the Day.

They went on a hiatus in 2011 yet returned with new song Cooler in 2020.
