Referencing the Leslie Gore “It’s my party” hit, fans from around the world headed to the comments section to wish her a happy birthday.
On another post that showcased her debut single Sanctuary in 2008, one fan said: “That was very cool. You haven’t changed!”
Another said: “Still beautiful as always.”
The Melbourne-born songstress looks as fresh faced as she did 16 years ago when she released her first studio album ‘Lessons to be Learned’ in 2008.

Her single ‘Sweet About Me’ on the album achieved worldwide success.
The catchy ‘earworm’ tune reached number-one in Australia alongside the top ten in several countries, including reaching number six on the UK Singles Chart.
In 2008 she toured with the Sugababes, supporting the girl band on their UK Change Tour.
She opened for James Blunt on his June 2008 Australian tour, and played an MTV Greece concert alongside R.E.M. and the Kaiser Chiefs the same year.
She also has several accolades under her musical belt including six ARIA Music Awards and a Brit Award nomination.
The smokey-voiced singer still clearly has a strong fan base 16 years later, even though she hasn’t released any new music recently.
She did post a picture on her social media accounts in May this year with the cryptic comment: “Took some images for a new project with the wonderful @sarah.noons recently I hope to share with you soon.”
Many rushed to comments to say how beautiful she looked with some wondering if she would be launching new music.
While often updating her fans on her daily life, she has also previously opened up about the struggles she has faced suffering with OCD.
Posting on her accounts to highlight Mental Health Awareness Week, last year she said: “It’s Mental Health Awareness Week! Some of you may have heard me chat about my experience with OCD and intrusive thoughts,’ she wrote in the caption.
‘Growing up I was so afraid to speak up in case people thought badly of me.”
“I wish I could go back in time and tell my younger self that she was not alone, people all over the world experience similar thoughts and there are others who sometimes flick the light switch on and off 5 times to stop the world from ending… if you know you know.”
“Conversation around mental health is so important and I love how @frogglesworld have created a safe and fun space to have dialogue around a topic that can so often feel scary and heavy.”
