They rocketed to success with catchy track In This City – dubbed an “anthem in the making” by an NME blogger.
It gave the “joyful pop song” an eight out of 10 in its ratings.
Meanwhile, the track peaked at number five in the UK charts – with an instrumental version also used regularly on BBC show, Match of the Day.
Yet the song – contained on the album & Then Boom – was to be their only significant music success, making them a one-hit wonder.
They went on a hiatus in 2011 yet returned with new song Cooler in 2020.
Yet things are now changing for the Los Angeles natives, who often perform topless on stage.
A fresh single was released this month which followed gigs in Manchester, Glasgow and London.
They have even teased fans with fresh tour dates, with a fresh Instagram caption stating: “Missin’ the stage.

This prompted a slew of fan remarks urging more dates to be added to the calendar.
Meanwhile, a legendary Noughties band also recently revealed they were reuniting – but for a heartbreaking reason.
The original group that backed Amy Winehouse at the height of her fame will come together for a special gig to mark what would have been the late singer’s 40th birthday in December.
Amy tragically passed away from alcohol poisoning, aged 27, in 2011.
The group will get back together in London on Friday, December 22 and promise to “perform songs from her catalogue to celebrate her life and career.”
Meanwhile, a huge Los Angeles band recently announced their reunion – and a fresh Stateside tour.
And a top rocker looks completely different now compared to his chart fame heyday.
While this Noughties indie rocker traded in fame for a very normal job.
Additionally, a rock favourite now looks unrecognisable after confirming a fresh tour.
