But fans of the show will also remember Clea – made up of Chloe Morgan, Lynsey Brown, Emma Beard and Aimee Kearsley.
Although the ladies lost out on a place in Girls Aloud, alongside Cheryl Tweedy, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding, they went on to form their own group.
Clea enjoyed moderate success with singles like Download It and Stuck in the Middle but Chloe left the group in 2004, with Lynsey following in her footsteps two years later.

But the girls have confirmed they’re back together and will perform at Mighty Hoopla later this year, where they’ll share the stage with huge names including Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland and S Club 7 icon Rachel Stevens.

Sharing the news on their official Instagram, the group said: “We can’t wait to be reunited at @mightyhoopla on Saturday 3rd June at Brockwell Park London to celebrate our 20th anniversary✨.
“Join @cleagirlband and follow our journey back to stage.”
Excited fans rushed to leave comments – with presenter Rylan Clark leading the way.
After Clea asked for setlist requests, Rylan wrote: “YESSSSS GIVE ME DOWNLOAD IT [and] DRIPPING IN BLACK PLEAAAAASE.”

He said: “I got the news that this girl band are reforming and they’re gonna be performing at Mighty Hoopla, which I’m very excited about, and I just love this track.”
The girls posted the moment on Instagram and added: “We’ve only just got played on @bbcradio2 thanks to @rylan. Huge thank you for your friendship and support!”
