NOEL Gallagher’s ex-wife Meg Mathews has been banned from the roads after she crashed into a parked car while double the drink-drive limit.
Mathews, 57, had downed a “couple of drinks” at a book launch in Newquay to calm her nerves before making a speech.

But when the pal asked to see her new Jeep Wrangler car, the ex-music PR got behind the wheel and crashed into a parked car.
The owner of the vehicle called police and Mathews was found to have 77mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath – with the legal limit being 35mg.
She today pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle with an alcohol level above the limit at Cornwall Magistrates’ Court.
Mathews was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £440 and ordered to pay a £176 surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
The court was told she has “no actual salary” but would be able to pay any fine and costs within 14 days.
If Mathews completes a drink-driving rehabilitation course, her driving ban will be reduced by 20 weeks.
Steven Cox, defending, said Mathews was feeling quite nervous about speaking publicly for the first time in a “number of years”.
She took a couple of drinks that were offered to her but these were not “pub-level drinks and were not measured properly and they had a lot more alcohol in them than she originally thought”.

The lawyer said Mathews was planning to stay at her friend’s home nearby but they first went to see her new car.
She then made the “stupid decision” to drive the Jeep despite being over the limit.
Mr Cox added: “She said she reached the first bend and that’s where she clipped the car causing minor damage, scrapes, there’s no serious body damage.
“She stopped immediately, and the owner of the vehicle came out who had called the police. She was exchanging details when the police arrived.
“They arrived, she blew over the limit and was arrested and taken into custody.
“She said to me, ‘I take full responsibility and accountability for what I did, and I want to end by apologising again for you having to hear this case due to my bad judgment. I will never do this again’.”
Mathews, who rose to fame during the 90s Britpop era, married Noel, 56, in Las Vegas in 1997.
The couple, who share daughter Anaïs, 23, split four years later.
