The pair — who have two teenage sons together — only communicated through their lawyers towards the end.
Oasis legend Noel, worth around £80million, is expected to hand over the couple’s £8million mansion in Hampshire to Sara, who he started dating in 2001.
Experts say the music publicist could also get as much as £20million from his earnings during their time together in a deal struck at a hearing last month.
The couple both flew abroad to celebrate, with Don’t Look Back in Anger star Noel, 56, partying in Vegas with U2 and pals, and Sara, 52, joining friends in Ibiza.

Noel revealed recently he has been living in hotels since the split and is now house-hunting.
A source said: “Sara stayed in the house after they split and Noel moved out.
“She’s expected to stay there.
“They’ve deliberately done things quietly and behind closed doors, avoiding any sort of public battle, and they’ve got the resources to do that.
“But it’ll be a huge relief to both of them to finally have a deal agreed.
“By the end they really just communicated via lawyers.

“But they both seemed to want to celebrate afterwards so it seems as though both sides are happy enough.
“They’ve both been determined to retain great relationships with their kids.”
Noel met Sara while still married to first wife Meg Mathews, mum to his daughter Anais.
The couple divorced in 2001.
He and Sara eventually tied the knot in 2011 and have sons Donovan and Sonny.
However The Sun revealed in January how their marriage had broken down irreparably at the end of last year.
They confirmed the divorce proceedings, with a spokesman adding: “Noel and Sara will continue to look after their children who remain the priority.”
Noel, now on tour with his new band High Flying Birds, has since told how writing his latest album helped him to “come to terms” with the break-up.
He said: “Divorce is a long, drawn-out process, so it affects the mood of the album, for sure.
“When you’re an artist you write about what you know, and I don’t really have much to say about life in general, as I don’t really give a f*** about most things I see on the news.
“So when things happen in your life that you can articulate, I tend to jump on them, and it makes for better art.”
The split also prompted renewed calls for an Oasis reunion, as Sara had a turbulent relationship with Noel’s brother Liam.
A spokesman for Noel declined to comment on the divorce deal.
