A NINETIES pop star looks unrecognisable 30 years after releasing a huge hit.
Stakka Bo star Johan Renck was a big star in the 90s thanks to the song Here We Go – but he now has a very different job.

The track achieved notable success across Europe, securing chart positions in multiple countries and reaching its highest rank at number four in Sweden.
The song also hit No. 13 in the UK Singles Chart.
The accompanying music video received a lot of airplay on major channels like MTV.
Johan’s style of music was very influenced by English Hip-hop/electronic dance group, Stereo MC’s, who were also huge pop-stars at the time.
Johan is now an Emmy-winning director. In 2019, He won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series, Movie, or Dramatic Special.

This recognition was awarded for his work on Chernobyl, a historical drama centred on the events of the 1986 Chernobyl disaster and the subsequent cleanup operations.
Some other films he directed include Spaceman and Downloading Nancy.
When a throwback video of the star performing his hit song Here We Go was posted to TikTok, many fans reminisced and were delighted to revisit a nostalgic blast from the past.
One fan wrote: “And who thought he would make a great series about Chernobyl back then?”
Another fan wrote: “Remember this blasting out of the radio in the 6th form common room”
The 56-year-old is married to Elin Renck, who he shares 4 kids with. The pair have been together for almost 10 years.
