Nicolas Cage’s son Weston finalizes divorce from third wife following arrest for assaulting mom

Just one week after his arrest, Nicolas Cage’s son, Weston Cage Coppola, has reportedly finalized his divorce from his third wife, Hila Cage Coppola.

A judge signed off on the split, allowing for the dissolution of their marriage on Thursday, per TMZ.

According to the terms of their agreement, Hila will continue to maintain sole custody of their two children, Cyress and Venice, both 4. Weston currently has no visitation rights pending a further court order.

Weston was also ordered to pay Hila $991 per month in spousal support until July 31 — at which point, Hila waives her right to receive more money in the future.

Hila has also been ordered to return several items belonging to Weston including two necklace pendants, a keyboard, three framed images of his band, crystal skulls, and a civil war document signed by Giuseppe Garibaldi.

Weston — who was previously married to Nikki Williams and Danielle Cage — married Hila, 40, in 2018 and welcomed daughters Cyress and Venice during the pandemic. They split in 2021 when they filed for divorce. He’s also father to sons Lucian and Sorin, whom he shares with Danielle.

Weston and his mother, Christina Fulton, both sued Hila for defamation in 2023, accusing her of embezzling $100,000 and requesting a “fraudulent restraining order” that prevented Fulton and her family from seeing Weston’s daughters.

At the time of the filing, Fulton told the US Sun that she was left with no choice but to file the suit due to the “hostile narrative and environment” created by Hila that made it “impossible for the family to see or have a relationship with the children both privately and publicly.”

“It is devastating not to see these kids. Nicolas and I haven’t been able to meet our two beautiful little granddaughters at all since they were born. We’re in a quiet, horrible nightmare. It’s insane, painful, hurtful, devastating,” Fulton’s statement reads.

Weston was arrested last week for assault with a deadly weapon following a verbal altercation with his mother that turned physical in April.

Fulton told People last week that she originally went to Weston after she received calls from his best friends asking for assistance as “they were experiencing Weston in a mental health crisis.”

“Upon my arrival, I was met by my son who clearly was in a state of a mental-health breakdown, which in turn became a horrific experience,” she reportedly said.

“I have always supported helping my son with his mental-health struggles. I am doing all I can to get him the continued support he needs.”
