It seems stars are feeling fancy in 2023.
A particular see-through, ruffled party dress from buzzy Vietnam-based brand Fancì is making the rounds in Hollywood, with both Nicola Peltz and Hailey Bieber stepping out in versions of the sultry style just days apart.
Peltz celebrated her 28th birthday Monday night in the label’s Obsession Dress ($350) — which, with its ruffle rosettes and asymmetrical hem with high double slits, meshed perfectly with her party’s very-Y2K butterfly theme.
Bieber, meanwhile, modeled the mini version on social media last week, showing off the short skirt and low-cut back of her Apple Dress ($250) on TikTok.

Like Peltz, she layered the transparent look over black undergarments, opting for a Fleur du Mal silk bra ($98) and sheer Calzedonia tights ($9, originally $20) — but unlike the “Transformers” actress, who wore high-waisted black briefs beneath her dress, Bieber went with a cheeky thong.
But it was “Euphoria” actress, model and former adult film star Jessie Andrews who went boldest with her styling of this particular look, choosing to free the nipple beneath her Fancì LBD at the 2023 Adult Video News Awards in Las Vegas on Jan. 7.
The three blondes aren’t the only famous fans of this particular frock; Rita Ora and Elsa Hosk have both been spotted in versions of the same scalloped-hem Fancì design in other colors.
Dua Lipa, Addison Rae, Bella Hadid, Doja Cat and Olivia Rodrigo have also all stepped out (or snapped pics) in looks from the cool-girl label, which we expect to see on many more major names in 2023.
