Nick and Vanessa Lachey don’t appear to be going away anytime soon.
The couple will remain co-hosts of Netflix’s “Love Is Blind” despite a surging fan petition calling for their removal, according to Entertainment Tonight.
The outlet also said there is no truth to reports that season 1 favorites Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton would be brought in to replace the Lacheys.
Reps for Netflix didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Both the 98 Degrees alum and his wife came under fire following the disastrous season 4 reunion earlier this month.
Cast members and fans alike accused the actress of having “personal bias” against Paul Peden for breaking up with fiancé Micah Lussier because he couldn’t see her as a mother.
In response, Vanessa, 42, sent Peden flowers after the reunion as an act of atonement.
Other fans and viewers accused the couple of “grilling” the participants instead of having an open conversation and also called out Vanessa’s “obsession” with asking about fertility and family planning.

“The fact that Zack had to interject and defend Paul during the reunion, bc [sic] Vanessa Lachey was too busy grilling him instead of Micah is INSANE. You can tell she was pissed by that,” one Twitter user wrote.

The continuing backlash prompted both Nick, 49, and Vanessa to turn off comments on their social media platforms, though they have yet to address publicly the fallout from the reunion.
Meanwhile, fans grew excited when the Daily Mail reported that Speed and Hamilton could take over the hosting jobs.
“Viewers feel a connection with Lauren and Cameron because they are the real deal,” a production source told the outlet.
“They are down-to-earth, kind people who can actually help the contestants because they have walked in their shoes. People want to relate to the hosts — and at this point they can’t relate to Vanessa or Nick.”
Nick and Vanessa began hosting the show at its launch in 2020 and have been married since 2011.
