Netflix fans can’t sleep and plagued by visions of rats after horror epic – saying they’ll never switch on a TV again

NETFLIX fans have been left unable to sleep after watching the Stephen King horror 1922.

The American horror, which is available to watch on the popular streaming service, is based on author Stephen King’s book of the same name.

The 2017 movie, written and directed by Zak Hilditch, follows the story of a man called Wilfred “Wilf” James and his family based in 992.

Wilf manages to convince his son Henry to help him kill his mum Arlette after she tries to convince them to move from Nebraska to Omaha.

They murder her successfully – but that isn’t the end for them both as they keep getting followed by rats.

It stars the likes of Thomas Jane, Molly Parker, Neal McDonough and Kaitlyn Bernard.

Many have taken to Twitter to share how good they thought it was – and how scary too.

One said: “I watched 1922 on Netflix- scared the crap outta me lol.”

“Hmmm 1922 scared the s*** outta me. It’s on Netflix highly recommended if you ain’t seen it,” another tweeted.

A third chimed in: “I watched 1922, Netflix, Oh My Hell, Rats It was Great..”

It comes shortly after Netflix viewers were left totally freaked out by watching “grotesque” horror movie Viking Wolf.

The film, which is about a teenage girl transforming into a werewolf, includes disturbing scenes of people being torn apart, that have left some fans “terrified”.

Fans have now taken to Twitter to reveal their torment after watching the film, with one saying: “My 8 yr old sister thought she was smart and snuck watched the Viking Wolf on Netflix. She has been slinking into my room round midnight as the nightmares are nightmaring. [sic].

This one tweeted: “Watching Netflix scary Film just now ( Viking Wolf ) I know , it is not a good idea at this late time of night.”

While another called the movie “grotesque”.

This isn’t first time Netflix fans have been left “traumatised”.

Just last week, viewers were left shocked after streaming new documentary House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths.
