Earlier this year, young talent Star Lily Shentall-Lee revealed her involvement in musical 30 Going On 30 at Manchester Opera House.
The show – adapting the namesake hit 2004 film – is running from September 21 to October 12.
As for Star Lily, her famous mum is none other than Steps star Lisa Scott-Lee.
Taking to Instagram earlier this year, Star Lily announced her involvement in the then-upcoming musical.
She shared a photo featuring all of her new castmates’ respective headshots.
Star Lily captioned: “I am so honoured to perform with this amazing cast full of talent, along with the incredible team behind it all.
“Such a dream come true, can’t wait for this summer and more!”
One follower commented: “Huge congrats lovely. You will be amazing.”
Another added: “Congratulations beautiful.”
While a third penned: “So happy for youuuuuuuu, you will eat.”
Star Lisa Scott-Lee from Steps enjoys holiday with family
Star is portraying the character “Six Chicks”, while Lucie Jones and David Hunter play Jenna and Matt.
Star’s mum, Lisa performs in Steps alongside Claire Richards, Ian “H” Wakins, Faye Tozer and Lee Latchford-Evans.
The group were initially active from 1997 to 2001, then again from 2011-2012.
In 2017, the five-strong band reformed for a second time to mark their 20th anniversary.
Steps were notably the first British and mixed-gender group to achieve four No.1 albums across four different decades.
Lisa married former Steps dancer and Hear’Say singer Johnny Shentall in 2004.
In addition to Star Lily, the couple also welcomed a son named Jaden together.
They moved to Dubai in 2011, before launching the Dubai Performing Arts Academy together three years later.
