Molly Mae admits she’s struggling to solo parent without Tommy Fury and work during ‘challenging’ period

MOLLY-Mae has opened up about her struggles with juggling life, work and her relationship in a frank new vlog.

The 25-year-old former Love Islander has been documenting her life on her YouTube channel for years, and has never been afraid of bluntly discussing the ups and downs behind her ultra-successful image.

In her latest video, which was uploaded last week, Molly explained she felt guilt over her struggle to find balance in her life.

Speaking from her dressing room, Molly said: “I, to be honest with you, have been not feeling… like, I mean this week has just been a lot of emotions.”

Explaining that her fiancé, Tommy Fury, has been wrapped up recording his audiobook, Molly added that she wanted to be understanding as her own audiobook recording was “the most intense week of her entire life”.

“He’s done it now, and I’m so proud of him, because I know that was a really big deal to him, but I have been solo parenting pretty much the entire week,” she said.

“Actually I’ve been solo parenting for like, two weeks now, basically because Tommy’s just been so busy.

“When he’s home from doing work and stuff, he’s so incredible and so helpful. I can’t say any different, like, he’s such an incredible dad, but I have been this week, like, just really… mum life has been mum lifeing.”

Opening up with her own issues, she told viewers: “I just feel like, at the minute I’ve been struggling a little bit, which is fine.

“I feel like with motherhood, like some stages are easier than others, and at the minute, I feel like we’re going through a little bit of a challenging phase, not only with Bambi, but also just with me and trying to juggle a lot.”

Teasing an upcoming exciting project, Molly said: “I feel like, at the minute, the solo parenting, the prepping for [the photoshoot for the project], running another business, Filter, which has just launched a new product as well, and doing my normal content, I’ve really, really been like… split.”

“I really, basically struggle to do mum life and do work life at the same time,” she added.

“When I’m in my mum mode, like, I’m always in mum mode, but when I’m truly in the depths, and I’m doing it by myself, I cannot think about work. I just can’t.

“I can’t think about Instagram stories, I can’t think about keeping you guys updated. I can’t think about anything else other than just taking care of Bambi and I just sometimes wish that I could also like, you know, work and be a mum and, like, do everything at the same time.

“I know people that do do that, but it annoys me that I feel like sometimes I’m not very good at that and I can’t seem to A-Star that area.”

“Now that Tommy has finished recording his audio book, I feel like I’m going to be so much better,” she concluded

“It’s just nice to have the company when you’ve got a toddler that’s just very, very, very demanding at the minute.”

Inside Molly-Mae’s life

Take a look at the influencer, business owner and reality TV star’s journey to fame

Tommy and Molly have been together since 2019 when they met on Love Island, and since then have arguably become one of the show’s biggest success stories.

They welcomed daughter Bambi in January 2023.

However, with Molly’s demanding fashion and influencing career, and Tommy’s boxing career, the pair are often sent off in separate ventures around the world.

Molly-Mae became a millionaire at the age of 21 after bagging lucrative brand deals, and has a net worth of a staggering £6m.

She built up most of her huge fortune after she became creative director of PrettyLittleThing, in August 2021.

Molly was paid a reported £400k a month for the role but stepped back in June 2023.

But this has at times put at a strain on their relationship as they juggle being parents with their work commitments.

Earlier this year, they were forced to stand-up against split rumours after spending weeks away from each other due to their own obligations.
