But now mum-of-two Mollie has revealed that she took some time off, following an operation in July.
Posting a statement against a black backdrop, Mollie penned: “Hi everyone!
“Long time, no post! I just wanted to say a big thank you to those of you who’ve sent such lovely messages over the past few weeks while I’ve been off Radio 1. It really does mean a lot.
“I had to take some time off in July for an operation but everything went well and I’m doing much better now. I’ll be back on air in September and can’t wait to be back with you!”
Mollie continued: “It feels like forever since I’ve been in the Rl studio… I’m even missing getting thrashed in Matt vs Mollie, so that’s really saying something! На!
“In the meantime, here are a few photos from earlier in the summer!”
The Saturdays star welcomed her second daughter earlier this year, and admitted that life is ‘tricky’ as she navigated being a mum-of-two while partner Stuart Broad was away.
The duo welcomed Lilianna in January and already share a daughter, Annabella, who is two years old.
She told the Mail Online: “I feel like the first few weeks – it was the same with Annabella – I did find it quite tricky.
“You’re just really in that sort of survival mode of, you’re up all night, you’re feeding constantly, but now I’m at that stage where I’m really able to sort of enjoy it and take the most of each moment.
She added: “I’ve actually found it easy going from one to two rather than going from none to one, because I feel like I’ve got that little bit of experience and a bit more knowledge.
“I really felt like I knew nothing when I had Annabella.”
Her fiancé had to go back to work almost immediately as he went to South Africa to commentate on the Premier T20 cricket league.
With all the demands of parenthood, Mollie was forced to rely on her mum and her in-laws for support.
“He went to South Africa for 5 weeks quite soon after she was born, which wasn’t ideal timing, so my amazing mum and mother-in-law really stepped in and helped me out with that,” the former This Morning presenter explained.
“But since he’s been back from South Africa. It has just been so lovely to have that family time while I’m on maternity leave.
“It’s been nice to sort of feel like the four of us are a little used it and most of that time. I know how precious the time is.
Mollie added: “I know how quickly it goes by. So yeah, we’ve been really trying to like make the most of each day and do fun activities and get out.”
