The show, which starred comic and actress Miranda Hart, ran for almost five years from 2009 and gained a legion of fans.
It’s still widely regarded as one of the station’s most popular comedy shows and is regularly aired on TV.
And the actors, which also included veteran actress Patricia Hodge, Waterloo Road actress Sarah Hadland and former Eastenders hunk Tom Ellis, have rarely been seen out together since it ended back in 2014.
But in a rare social media sighting, three of the show’s main stars can all be seen enjoying a festive reunion.
Miranda, Patricia Hodge, who played Miranda’s interfering mum Penny, and Sarah Hadland, who played Miranda’s BFF Stevie, looked overjoyed to be reunited as they donned Miranda themed Christmas jumpers and smiled for a selfie together.
Captioning the snap, Miranda wrote: “Just three ladies in their @mirandashop Christmas jumpers. Have you got yours yet? Love oo.”

Fans excitedly rushed to the comments section to express their joy at seeing the show’s stars reunite – with many demanding that they return for a new series of the sitcom.
One commented: “This picture exceeds nationally mandated levels of happiness.”
While another wrote: “Such fun, lovely to see you all together again. A Christmas reunion special please!!!”
A third added: “Love this picture so much.”
Another penned: “Lovely to see you all together again.”
And a fifth commented: “We need you back on the screeeens.”
Rumours that the show would return for a fourth series have been rife since it ended in January 2015.
However, Miranda – who went on to star in BBC’s Call the Midwife, has often dampened the rumours by claiming that she doesn’t think she will revive the show.
The cast did reunite via Zoom back in 2020 as part of the BBC’s Big Night In during the pandemic.
