Dressed in a leather jacket and baseball cap, with his signature blonde locks on show, the singer posed for a selfie as part of a photo dump.

Alongside the image on public transport, Sam shared some snapshots of himself – including being interview on BBC Radio 2, enjoying a trip to the cinema and a screengrab of his 4:35am alarm.

In his caption, the Celebrity Gogglebox star wrote: “moments this week, including making my first ever veggie chilli and accidentally booking a 4dx film to take a nap to at the cinema.”

The Sun revealed last May that Sam was worth seven figures after taking his pop earnings from £400,000 to £1.4million at his music firms Bizwash and Washbiz.

Figures showed one firm had £1.3million. as of July 2023, while the second had £100,000.

The upturn in his fortunes was shown in accounts signed off by him and filed at Companies House.

Sam’s success didn’t happen overnight.

His rise to fame came after his viral appearance on TikTok, where his cover of Somebody to Love by Queen caught the attention of millions.

Following that, he was selected as the UK’s representative at 2022’s Eurovision Song Contest in Turin.

His performance of Space Man in Turin took him to second place, losing out to Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra amid the Russian invasion.

BBC Breakfast’s Charlie Stayt slammed for giving Sam Ryder ‘a rough ride’ as co-star gasps ‘b—-y hell!’

In the intervening year, he performed at Wembley Stadium with Queen, collaborated with David Guetta and Sigala on Living Without You and went to No1 with his album There’s Nothing But Space, Man!.

Speaking to Bizarre in 2022, he insisted Eurovision had done his career wonders and encouraged other acts to follow his lead.

Quizzed about who could represent the UK, he said: “The UK has such a diverse plethora of talent and all I can hope is that what happened this year has encouraged more people from those diverse genres and backgrounds to think, ‘Eurovision isn’t a career killer.’”
