These two aren’t so much the power couple as the back-up battery, it seems.
Page Six hears that both halves of a media maven couple have stepped in to help bail ABC out of its recent scandals.
When it was revealed last year that “GMA 3” co-anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were having an affair, forcing them out of their jobs, Rihannon Ally auditioned to take over their show.
Now we hear that her husband, Mike Marza, is set to take over from disgraced anchor Ken Rosato on local station WABC7.
As Page Six first reported, Rosato was shown the door after he was caught on a hot mic allegedly referring to his co-anchor Shirleen Allicot as the c-word.
Sources tell us that Marza, who already co-anchors the local weekend news, is the frontrunner to “replace Ken.”

In the end, network passed on Ally and went with DeMarco Morgan and Eva Pilgrim instead.
Meanwhile, sources are now telling us Rosato, who worked as a priest before joining the station in 2003, allegedly has a track record of saying inappropriate things.
But a source close to Rosato was shocked to hear that since they claimed that as far as they were aware, “Ken had an impeccable record for over two decades on and off the air.”
In fact, they further claim “he’s had hundreds of phone calls” since being removed from the air. “There’s an outpouring of love. Other networks are reaching out. He’s the most sought after anchor in the market,” they said.
A rep for ABC and Rosato’s spokesperson, Todd Shapiro, did not comment.
