It’s been a major year for Michelle Yeoh.
The “Everything Everywhere All at Once” actress, 60, hit the SAG Awards 2023 red carpet Sunday night wearing all the sequins, everywhere, all at once.
The actress sparkled in a Schiaparelli Haute Couture black one-shoulder gown with yellow sequined fringe running down the length of the dress.
She paired the straight-off-the-runway style with black heels, a black and diamond watch and dangling yellow and diamond statement earrings, which she showed off with a swept back ponytail and side bangs.
Fans on social media adored the look, although it’s zany strip of crinkled fringe sequins drew comparisons to crinkle, french fries and more.
“Michelle Yeoh arrives wearing the names of the BAFTA voters, shredded,” one person tweeted. Another said, “I’m here for the idea of Michelle Yeoh’s dress but the embellishment color is giving shredded office envelope.”

The role won her the Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical award at the Golden Globes 2023 last month, with Yeoh’s co-star Jamie Lee Curtis turning the major moment into a T-shirt.
Yeoh gave a heartfelt acceptance speech at the Globes, saying, “As the days, the years and the numbers get bigger, it seems like opportunities start to get smaller as well. And I probably was at a time where I thought, ’Well, hey, come on, girl, you had a really, really good run. You worked with some of the best people.’”
Yeoh also won the top spot on Page Six Style’s Globes best-dressed list with her gorgeous gown, a strapless peplum style from Armani Privé completely covered in midnight blue sequins and paired with diamonds from Moussaieff Jewellers.
“Everything Everywhere All at Once” is also nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at this year’s SAG Awards; additionally, Curtis is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, and Ke Huy Quan is nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role category.
