Melissa Gorga reveals she won’t appear on ‘RHONJ’ with Teresa Giudice again. She said that if Bravo chooses to go with the “darker” more dramatic route, it’s not a show she wishes to be on.

The cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey finished filming season 14 months ago. It has been even longer since Melissa Gorga willingly interacted with her sister-in-law and co-star, Teresa Giudice. Gorga is hoping to keep it that way. She recently sat down to discuss the season and what comes next for her. While Melissa Gorga is open to returning to RHONJ, she has no interest in doing so if Teresa Giudice is involved. She revealed that a show with Giudice is just too toxic for her.

Melissa Gorga is willing to walk away from ‘RHONJ’ over Teresa Giudice

Melissa Gorga has strong feelings about her sister-in-law and The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Gorga appeared on 2 T’s and a Pod to discuss season 14 and the rumors about cast shakeups. Gorga insists she doesn’t have any insider information yet. Her ascertain seemingly backed Andy Cohen’s insistence that a final decision had yet to be made. He recently suggested the show was on “pause” while Bravo figured things out. Despite the lack of information, Gorga has been thinking and doing some soul-searching.

The longtime housewife revealed that she is OK with the possibility of not returning if Bravo opts to go a “darker” route with the series. She said that if Bravo keeps Teresa Giudice, her troubled husband, Luis Ruelas, and other drama-laden housewives over her, she’s totally OK with walking away. She told hosts Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp that she’s prepared to tell Bravo “…that is not a show that I want to be on.”

When did Melissa Gorga join the cast

Melissa Gorga might be ready to pack it in for real this time. While some RHONJ fans would be happy to see her go, others feel a little blue about the potential loss of longtime housewives. Gorga has had an illustrious run on the series. She first appeared in the show during season 2 as a guest. Gorga was initially brought in because she was related to Giudice. She joined the cast as a full-time housewife the following season.

Teresa Giudice is the only housewife with a longer tenure on The Real Housewives of New Jersey than Melissa Gorga. She was one of the original cast members. Giudice has spoken out about a potential cast shakeup, too. During an appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark, she revealed that she had no plans to leave RHONJ unless the network told her to. It might just come to that.
