Here we go again with former staffers speaking out about how they were mistreated by the Duchess of Sussex.
In news that sounds all too familiar, another one of Meghan Markle‘s ex-staffers is coming forward claiming that Prince Harry’s wife treated them horribly when they worked for her.
A royal commemtator has spoken to one woman who described the Suits alum‘s treatment of her as “dehumanizing” and revealed what the public doesn’t know about the duke and duchess’s staff departures.
Former staffer claims Meghan’s treatment of her was ‘dehumanizing’
Hearing complaints about what Meghan is like as a boss goes all the way back to when she was a working royal and Palace aides dubbed her “Duchess Difficiult.” The public then learned about a group of people who worked for her and Harry and when they decided to leave, dubbed themselves the “Sussex Survivors Club.”
More revelations came in September 2024, when over a dozen ex and current Sussex employees spoke to The Hollywood Reporter and described Meghan as a “terrible boss” everyone is “terrified of” who “barks out orders” like a “dictator in high heels.” Some later labeled her a “demon boss.”
Then in 2025, an explosive story no one saw coming came in Vanity Fair’s February cover story as sources told the publication that Meghan was a bully and they needed “long-term therapy” after working for her. Now, another person is reflecting on their time working under Meghan and have said the way she treated them was “dehumanizing.”
Commentator and To DI For Daily podcast host Kinsey Schofield told Sky News Australia that a member of the “Sussex Survivors Club” told her “she’s still experiencing issues after leaving Meghan’s employment. And the way she treated me, she says of Meghan, can only be described as dehumanizing.”
The “Sussex Survivor” claimed that Meghan was “ugly when Harry wasn’t around” as the duke has defended some people when the duchess acted “nasty” towards them in front of him.
Schofield added that the ex-employee also shared that the public “only hears about the professional positions but the household staff departures are much higher. It actually became quite comical because during a certain period it felt like every week someone new had left.”
The commentator then noted, “So these numbers we’ve been reporting for years aren’t accurate at all. The turnover is horrible.”
The Sussexes have been firing people in an effort to save themselves some cash
According to a new report, Meghan and Harry have been unloading staffers left and right because they’re a little cash-strapped and need to “save some money.”
In June, the couple let go of several employees including Charlie Gipson, their Director of Communications in Europe; Kyle Boulia, their Deputy Press Secretary; Lianne Cashin, the Head of Operations at Archewell, and a social media manager.
Page Six reported that those staffers were given their walking papers because the Sussexes need to “save cash.” They currently have some big expenses including an annual security bill believed to cost a few million, a hefty bill for staffers who work at their estate in Montecito, the upkeep of their $14 million mansion, and a yearly property tax of $288,000.
