MAX George and girlfriend Maisie Smith have been inseparable since they got together last summer.
The loved-up couple often pay sweet tributes to one another in cosy social media snaps or show their fun side in laugh out loud pranks.

And The Wanted singer Max, 34, admits 21-year-old Maisie’s life in the spotlight and familiarity with fame has helped their relationship thrive.
In an exclusive interview, he said: “We both know how it works. Maisie’s had it since she was six. We both know it and I’ve been doing it a long time.
“It’s just one of those things. We knew that people were going to write about us and we tried to just keep it under wraps. It was out of our hands, it got taken out of our hands.
“If we put a picture up or whatever, it is literally we do it for us. You know what I mean? That’s for us when we’re not together or whatever, but obviously people are going to see that and write about it and have positive comments or negative things to write, but we know how happy we are so it really doesn’t bother us. It’s nice that we’ve got each other. We both understand it. She really gets it.”
Max is currently part of the star-studded line up for Channel 4 reality show Scared of the Dark alongside Paul Gascoigne and Chris Eubank.
The unique programme, hosted by Danny Dyer, sees the celebs living and carrying out challenges in total darkness for seven days.
Max joked that late best pal Tom Parker, who tragically died last year from cancer aged 33, would have given him a good ribbing over his chances at succeeding.
“He’d have absolutely zero belief in me!” said max. “He’d say something along the lines of, ‘You’ll get booted out first. You’ll f**k it up, George!’

“He always thought I pretty much messed everything up, but he’d be happy. He’d be happy to watch me on it though. It’s his kind of thing, this. I’m sure he’ll be there with me, he will be.”
Whether or not he makes it to the end remains to be seen, but Max is excited for viewers to see the real him.
When asked what he’ll bring to the show, he said: “I’m quite calm. Hopefully if anyone’s feeling s**t or whatever, I’d like to think that I’m there for a chat with anyone whenever, whatever time. I think I’ve got some pretty good stories actually from the last 12 years. But it’ll probably just take me a minute to open up because like I say, I am more of a listener and then once I trust other people I open up.”
Pop star Max is as comfortable on screen as he is on a stage performing with his group and even briefly cracked Hollywood when he starred in hit high school series Glee in 2015.
But for all his fame, Max enjoys the quiet life and almost ditched the spotlight entirely before landing the huge telly role as he struggled to adapt to the attention he was receiving following his group’s first number one record.
He said: “When The Wanted took a break in 2014, I took a break to come out of the spotlight. Stupidly, I went to LA and landed my first job in acting after my first audition. Nothing really changed. But then I did actually move to Vegas for a couple of years and that was, believe it or not, to chill out. I wasn’t on the strip. I was 10 minutes in a suburb of Vegas. Beautiful.”
Those low-key years reinvigorated Max’s hunger for work and helped redefine his goals.
He continued: “I had two years of just breathing and relaxing and I went back to football. I played for a semi-professional team over there and just became, I don’t know, Max of 12 years before playing football with my mates and not talking about music or not having to talk about relationships or anything, literally just playing football and getting a bit of sun. It was really nice, actually.
“I think that rejuvenated me actually to come home and really start working and doing new things. I was always quite narrow minded, but once I’d finished The Wanted, once I’d been on Glee for a year, even with Strictly because Strictly asked me a lot of times to do it and I said no, but I just got to a point where I was like, ‘You know what? I need to try new things. The Wanted will always be there. And The Wanted were my first love and that’s a romance that will never end for me.’
“That’s always there, but I am really enjoying trying different things. Not everything. There’s a lot of stuff that I won’t do. But with this one in particular, with it being such an experimental thing, it’s new. I find it really intriguing, the concept of it. I’m in a really good place and I’m really excited to do this show.”
