Sophie Turner is a “mature” mom who’s allowed to take in an Oasis concert, Gianna Paolo told Page Six Radio following backlash over the actress’s recent kid-free outing.
“She’s very mature as a human being,” Turner’s “Trust” co-star told Ian Mohr, Evan Real and Danny Mohr on Tuesday while discussing his time on set with the mom of two.
The actor — who stars opposite Turner, 29, in the upcoming psychological thriller — noted that her kids Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, were on set with her “most of the time,” and they all spent time “hanging out by the pool.”
“She’s a great mother,” he divulged, saying it was “crazy” that the actress recently endured mom-shaming.
When Murphy noted that “moms can go to Oasis,” Paolo joked, “We support hot moms at Page Six Radio!”
Elsewhere in the interview, Paolo, 29, reflected on Turner’s fame, and how she’s remained grounded — despite her high-profile marriage and divorce from Joe Jonas.
“You think of how big she is,” Paolo said, adding that her marriage to the singer had further raised her profile. “Once you’re in a celebrity relationship like that, you’re launched into a new stratosphere.”
Paolo also gushed that Turner is “very, very, very funny” with an “unhinged, out of pocket sense of humor, which I love.”
“She’s so cool,” Paolo said. “She’s dope.”
Paolo’s comments come after Turner issued an epic clapback to a netizen who mom shamed her after she shared photos of her concert outing with friends at Wembley Stadium in London.
“Lmfao I think she has forgotten that she has two kids,” one person wrote on Turner’s Aug. 4 Instagram post.
She responded, “ah I’m so sorry sometimes I forget some people can’t think for themselves. So … Get this … There’s this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.”
Turner shares Willa and Delphine with Jonas, to whom she was married from 2019 to 2024.
Following their contentious divorce, the former couple has seemingly co-parented amicably, even being spotted on a stroll in New York in June.
Joe also recently confirmed Paolo’s observations about the actress and mother. “Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true,” the hitmaker said while appearing on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast tour in May.
Jonas added that he is “really grateful” for their “beautiful co-parenting relationship.”
“Trust” is set for a theatrical release on Aug. 22.
