Matthew Perry’s final public outing before his death was a dinner date with a friend.
The “Friends” star, who was found dead on Saturday, was pictured looking relaxed outside of the Apple Pan — a famous hamburger spot in Los Angeles — six days prior.
The 54-year-old actor was seen wearing a green T-shirt with black pants and sneakers while spending quality time with his unidentified pal.
While the “Fools Rush In” star appeared happy to be out and about, his life unexpectedly — and quite tragically — came to an end just a few days later.
In a statement, the Los Angeles police department told Page Six, “We responded to the 1800 block of Blue Sail Rd for a death investigation on a male [at] 4:10 pm this afternoon. He was in his 50s.”
Sources told TMZ that first responders answered a call of cardiac arrest after the actor was found at his Los Angeles home, where he appeared to have drowned.
Law enforcement insiders told the news outlet that the actor went home in the morning after a 2-hour round of pickleball.
The actor allegedly sent his assistant out on an errand shortly thereafter, and when the assistant returned about two hours later, Perry was found unresponsive in his jacuzzi.

Foul play is not believed to be a factor, and no drugs were found at the scene.
Law enforcement sources also confirmed Perry’s death to the Los Angeles Times.
One day after his dinner date, the actor shared an eerie photo on Instagram, which showed him relaxing in an infinity pool with headphones on.
“Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman,” he captioned the post at the time.

Just last year, the “17 Again” actor released his shocking memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing.”
In the book, which was released in October 2022, Perry opened up about his decades-long addiction to alcohol and drugs, saying, “Not only do I have the disease, but I also have it bad.”
He continued, “I have it as bad as you can have it, in fact. It’s back-to-the-wall time all the time. It’s going to kill me.”
Perry previously admitted that he spent $9 million trying to get sober.
He also admitted that he nearly died just a few years ago while consuming 55 Vicodin tablets and a quart of vodka per day.
