Singer J Balvin, who has worked with Beyoncé and won a multitude of accolades, is now using a ‘seat filling’ service to get bums on seats.

As a result, more than 200 tickets are being flogged at half price for his show on Wednesday.

This is despite the 39-year-old star selling out recent shows for his Que Bueno Volver a Verte tour in Paris, Spain, Switzerland, Singapore and Australia.

J Balvin – real name José Álvaro Osorio Balvín – is a Colombian singer and rapper who started in the music industry in 2004.

After 10 years of hard graft, he finally made the big league when his single, 6 AM, peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot Latin songs chart.

He now has eleven Billboard Latin Music Awards, six Latin Grammy Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards and seven Latin American Music Awards to his name.

J Balvin has also made history as the first Latino man to headline a string of massive music events including Tomorrowland and Lollapalooza.

In 2018, J Balvin – aka the Prince Of Raggaeton – performed alongside Beyoncé during her headline gig at Coachella in California.

It came after Queen Bey had reached out to the musician and asked if she could lay down a remix of his hit Mi Gente.

J Balvin later revealed that he had Beyoncé and Jay Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy, to thank for the collaboration.

Speaking to ET Online, he admitted: “Her daughter was just like jamming and jamming to Mi Gente.

“So I received a call from my friend Melissa who told me [Bey had said], ‘The only thing I hear in the house or everywhere we go is Mai Gente because Blue is just like in love with the song.

“So Beyoncé was always jamming to it and Jay-Z was always jamming to it. So I said, ‘If Beyoncé’s daughter loves it, why don’t you tell her if she wants to jump on the remix?’ The worst she can say is no, right?”

J Balvin described Beyoncé as being “super down” with the suggestion.
