He said on Instagram last night: “After this reunion, I cut myself off as I was at one of the lowest points of my life.
“I had to go to counselling for weeks to recover from MAFS as I lost myself and I didn’t know who I was anymore.
“Since MAFS started airing I have had hate including death threats, and it’s not acceptable. Whether you love me or hate me. There is no need for comments to me or any of the other cast.
“I will talk about my experience and why reality TV is toxic in the coming weeks to spread awareness to others wanting to take part.”
It comes after Luke was axed from the series for punching Jordan Gayle.
It was reported last month that Luke, 30 was removed from the MAFS UK experiment after a bust-up with his fellow show groom.
Him and bride Jay Howard were forced to leave after the incident.
Following their exit from the show, Luke posted a gushing tribute to bride Jay.

And Luke revealed the pair went on holiday together after being asked to leave the reality show.
He wrote a sentimental post celebrating his partner, saying she ‘makes his heart burst’.
Snaps from their sunny holiday off air show the couple soaking up rays by the pool and taking in seaside views.
They also were pictured enjoying cocktails and delicious seafood paella.
Fans flocked to the comments to offer their support for the couple, and hit out at Erica and Jordan for their share in the conflict.
One person wrote: “Devastated you guys won’t be in it anymore, wish they had kicked off Erica and Jordan instead – been nothing but s**t stirrers since they started!!”
Another agreed: “Best of luck to ye both love ye , I think Jordan and Erica were but on this show to cause trouble.”
A third added: “I don’t condone violence, however I thought you’d beaten him up. Jordan was as equally to blame.
“I believe that the strong words should have been said to you, and you both should have been reprimanded. I don’t think you should’ve had to leave.”
One sweet fan shared: “Absolutely gutted yous have left but yous will always be my favourite on here!”
