Madison LeCroy thinks that Alex Rodiguez was “clearly” looking for a “side chick” when he allegedly slid into her DMs while engaged to Jennifer Lopez.
On Thursday’s episode of Alex Kroll’s podcast, “Pillows and Beer,” LeCroy recalled her disbelief when she first got an Instagram message from the famous MLB player back in 2020.
“I’m being f–king catfished. The dude who’s dating [Jennifer Lopez] is not in my DMs right now,” she told Kroll.
LeCroy added, “I told [Rodriguez], I said, ‘If you’re looking for a side chick, which clearly he was, it wasn’t gonna be me.’ I’m wifey material.”
The “Southern Charm” star — who was actually dating Kroll at the time of the scandal — revealed that A-Rod, 47, struck up a conversation by asking what gyms in her neighborhood were open amid the COVID-19 lockdown.
“He kept on FaceTiming you ad nauseam,” Kroll interjected. “You were like, ‘This motherf–ker’s FaceTimed me three or four times today.’ And then he, like, got mad at Madison because she didn’t answer when she was on the boat or something. And she was like, ‘I’m not at your beck and call.’”
A rep for Rodriguez did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The Bravo star, 32, also claimed that Rodriguez offered to fly her to Miami on multiple occasions, sending over travel itineraries from commercial flights.
However, LeCroy said she wasn’t flying to Miami “during that time.”

“People still don’t believe me. I swear to God, I’ve never, ever seen that person,” LeCroy explained on the podcast.

In 2021, rumors began to swirl among the “Southern Charm” cast that LeCroy had been hooking up with a famous ex-MLB player. The claims were then brought up on the Season 7 reunion.
LeCroy told Page Six in February 2021 that, despite speaking “on the phone” with the slugger, the two never got physical.
“He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée with me,” she said. “I don’t want anything bad for his family, or for mine. We are definitely innocent in this.”
Sources close to A-Rod also told The Post around the same time that the two had never met. A month after news of the scandal broke, Lopez, 53, and Rodriguez — who had been dating since 2017 — called off their engagement.
The singer ended up getting married to Ben Affleck in July 2022, while Rodriguez was romantically linked to fitness instructor Jaclyn Cordeiro in October 2022.
As for LeCroy, she married Brett Randle in November 2022.
