Mackenzie McKee and Khesanio Hall welcomed twins on June 2. Weighing over 5lbs, the girls were born at 31.5 weeks gestation.
Mackenzie McKee and Khesanio Hall’s family just grew by two; the couple’s twins were born via C-section earlier this week. The news comes after pregnancy complications led to a few tense moments. The duo’s IVF journey was documented on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. McKee has kept fans up to date about the pregnancy via Instagram and Snapchat as well.

Ja’Kharie Angie Hall & Ja’Meikah Angella Hall were born on Monday, June 2, three minutes apart, just days after McKee told Instagram followers that she was struggling with mild preeclampsia. After visiting an emergency room and being discharged, followers implored her to seek a second opinion. She did and was later admitted to a labor and delivery ward so doctors could monitor her condition. McKee had said she was incredibly uncomfortable and was hoping to deliver soon, but doctors were hopeful that they could bring the pregnancy closer to term before delivery.

McKee has type 1 diabetes, which can complicate pregnancy. Twin pregnancies are already a bit more complex than singleton births, but they can become dangerous quickly with additional underlying medical conditions. Despite their early arrival and McKee’s diabetes, she told TeenMomRealitea, an Instagram account dedicated to Teen Mom news, that both twins arrived healthy and that they are currently thriving. Both twins were born weighing over five pounds, despite their premature arrival.
McKee appears to be on the mend, too, although her Instagram stories revealed she’s required several blood transfusions since the delivery. It is unclear why the transfusions have been necessary. Blood transfusions after giving birth are not a standard procedure; according to Healthline, they are usually required after a labor complication.

Mackenzie McKee and Khesanio Hall are smitten with their new arrivals. While Hall is a new father, McKee is actually a seasoned pro. The twins are her fourth and fifth children. McKee rose to fame when she appeared on 16 and Pregnant after learning she was expecting with her high school boyfriend, Josh McKee. They welcomed their son, Gannon McKee, in 2011.
In 2014, they welcomed a daughter together. McKee celebrated Jaxie’s 11th birthday on Instagram. Two years later, their second son, Broncs McKee, was born. Mackenzie and Josh McKee divorced in 2022 after nine years of marriage. McKee met Hall the following year. They announced their engagement in 2024.
