Love Island legend Jon Clark reveals new girlfriend – and she is the spitting image of ex-fiance Hannah Elizabeth

Jon Clark, who shot to fame on the first series of the ITV2 reality series Love Island, came runner-up with fellow contestant Hannah Elizabeth.

The couple’s rollercoaster romance even saw the show’s first marriage proposal, as 34-year-old Jon got down on one knee before the show’s finale.

However the love wasn’t set to last, with the couple splitting shortly after the series ended.

Yet it appears blondes are attractive for Jon, who’s new squeeze Bethany bears an uncanny resemblance to his ex Hannah.

Jon, who went on to star in The Only Way Is Essex after Love Island, updated fans on his relationship status as he wrote on Instagram: “Mi Amor”.

Sharing a snap of the loved up couple in a bar in Marbella, Jon posed with dark sunglasses and his arm slung around new girlfriend Bethany.

Bethany’s long blonde hair, tanned skin and dark features resemble Liverpool girl Hannah, and fans were quick to notice the similarities.

One fan commented: “So your type.”

Another shared: “Came here to make that same comment.”

“Legend season 1 Don Jon,” said another.

Hannah and Jon’s rollercoaster romance was one of the main viewer favourites for season one of Love Island, but their villa love didn’t last long in the outside world.

Their relationship continued to be turbulent after the show ended and they called it quits after a series of rows nine months after the end of Love Island.

Jon told OK!, “We had arguments, there are things that happened between us, on both sides, not just mine.

The arguing was getting too much for me and we just weren’t working anymore.”

Hannah went on to find love after her relationship with Jon ended, and even had a baby with ex-boyfriend George Andreetti in 2019. The couple’s son is now four years old.

Hannah returned to Love Island for the All Star season earlier this year, but failed to find love and left halfway through the series.
