SO it’s finally here …. after the gossip, the fall-outs and the banishing of Joey Essex on Sunday the final of Love Island takes place on ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm.
With just four couples remaining – Sean Stone and Matilda Draper, Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan, Ayo Odukoya and Jess Spender, and Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel – the pressure is now on to scoop the title and a bumper £50K cash prize.
After being dumped last night, birthday boy Essex said: “If you have to leave, you might as well go out with a bang … It’s my birthday on Monday so feels like I’m going out at a good time.”
According to a massive poll of Sun readers, the first pairing to go exclusive in the sun-soaked ITV2 series will be triumphant this time around.
This means Welsh duo Ciaran, 21, and Nicole, 24, are frontrunners to take the Love Island series 11 title when host Maya Jama, 29, enters the villa later today.
