‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Release Date, Episode Count, Location, and More

Get ready for a very messy Valentine’s Day.

Love Is Blind Season 8 is coming to Netflix on Feb. 14. The latest installment of the hit dating show will follow a fresh batch of singles as they enter the pods in an attempt to find love. It’s the “biggest season yet,” host Vanessa Lachey promises in a teaser, which also celebrates the five-year anniversary of the one-of-a-kind relationship reality series.

‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 premieres Feb. 14

Love Is Blind Season 8 will premiere Friday, Feb. 14 on Netflix. New episodes will drop weekly on Fridays. The season will have 12 episodes in total.

This season’s singles are ready “to cut through the static of modern dating and forge authentic relationships, sight unseen,” according to Netflix. The cast will “form deep and immediate connections, setting the stage for an unexpected journey full of twists, turns, and shocking revelations that will test each relationship well after the participants leave the pods for the real world.”

Past seasons of Love Is Blind have featured singles from Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, Houston, Charlotte, and Washington, D.C. For season 8, the show heads back to the Midwest, with a cast of singles from Minneapolis, Minn.

The full cast hasn’t been revealed, but we did meet three members of the pod squad during the season 7 reunion: Alex, Brittany, and Joey.

“It’s such a small community,” Joey said when asked why he decided to go on Love Is Blind. “It’s not like a major city, but it’s also not a small town. So you kind of see the same people over and over and it’s a small bar scene, so. So year, I just never found the right person that clicked for me.”

Those small-town vibes could be an issue in the new season. Based on the teaser (via YouTube), it sounds like at least one couple may have met before filming began.

“When the doors opened, that was not the first time that he saw me,” a woman says.

‘Love Is Blind’ will return for two more seasons

Season 8 won’t be the last for Love Is Blind. Netflix has renewed the show for two more seasons. There’s no official word on where those seasons will take place, but producer Kinetic Content has previously announced it was casting singles in New England, Phoenix, Nashville, Denver, Columbus, Atlanta, and Miami.
