Her fiancé Ryan Libbey revealed the secret dash to A&E on their couples’ podcast, admitting: “I don’t know how much more she can take.”

Opening up about Louise’s struggle while she remains in hospital, Ryan told listeners: “Sadly Louise is not here this week. She had to go back into hospital almost two weeks ago for another emergency operation in the same tummy area that she’s been recovering from since earlier this year with her stoma surgery.”

“It was completely unexpected.”

Louise had a lifesaving stoma bag fitted after a long health battle.

She tried to ride out the pain she was experiencing before being rushed to A&E at 3.30am nine days ago.

“I can’t believe we’re back in this situation,” Ryan added.

“My heart beat is skipping around all over the place which is an indication of how heavy and raw it all feels.

“It’s very unexpected and a difficult pill to swallow.”

Ryan has been at Louise’s bedside for the past nine days but admits: “It’s completely broken me.

“Her recovery has been up and down. Post-surgery she was in septic shock, which shows the severity of how bad things got.

“She was heavily medicated with lots of cannulas and tubes coming out of her. To see that again, with her in intensive care, was extremely heartbreaking.”

Louise has since been moved out of intensive care – with hopes she will be able to leave soon to recover at home.

Ryan struggled to hold back tears as he updated fans on their podcast He Said, She Said.

Posting a preview of the episode on Instagram, Ryan wrote: “When I walked into the room to record this episode, seeing just one chair and one microphone moved me to tears.

Louise Thompson’s Full Health Battle

THE Made in Chelsea alumni has always spoken candidly about her health – yet what does she suffer from?

“I had to leave the house for a few minutes to gather my emotions, so I ran down to the florist to get a bunch of flowers for the set of the podcast.

“I wanted to make every effort to get this right and to keep things consistent, I wanted to do the podcast justice and make Louise proud.

“So I sat down for another difficult conversation and opened up about the truth on where Louise has been for the last two weeks.”

Louise last night posted a picture of their three-year-old son Leo, writing: “The face that will keep me pacing in the right direction.

“I think you look like me here.”
