The Love After Lockup journey continues in a fresh 10-episode season of Life After Lockup, premiering Oct. 4 on WE tv.
The new, 90-minute episodes of the reality series about incarcerated individuals and their partners will follow seven couples from previous seasons of Love After Lockup and Love During Lockup. Will any of them be able to make their relationships work? Or will the pressure of life on the outside force them apart?
Bianca and Daniel
In the most recent season of Love After Lockup, viewers met Bianca, who had dropped everything to move to Arizona to be Daniel, even though he was behind bars. Now, he’s been released, and she’s ready to start their life together.
“Daniel was released from prison. I’m so happy,” says Bianca in the new Life After Lockup trailer (via YouTube).
But Daniel doesn’t sound like he’s on the same page.
“Bianca wants to get married. I don’t believe we’re ready,” he says.
As Bianca begins to realize she might not get the happily ever after she imagined, her relationship with Daniel becomes strained. With the lease on their apartment running out, will they work through their issues or go their separate ways?
Zeruiah and Troy
Troy is out of prison and back at home. Now, Zeruiah is determined to bring him into all her family’s business affairs. She introduces him to Project HEAL, their non-profit organization that aims to support the formerly incarcerated. But Zeruiah is keeping a secret about their business.
Britney and Kerok
Britney and Kerok made their Love After Lockup debut in 2023. The couple, who met while they were both incarcerated in the same facility, were navigating the challenges of a relationship on the outside on top of the additional stress that came with Kerok’s gender transition. Now, they’re looking to make even more changes. The couple is moving from Virginia to Texas, along with Kerok’s mom, Tammy. But as they prepare for the big move, they get a shocking call that could change everything.
Kimberly and Joey
Kim and Joey are adjusting to their new life together following his recent release from prison. Joey has stepped up as a stepfather to Kim’s boys, and she’s thrilled to have her fiancé home. And the more time Joey spends with Kim’s son, Kasen, the more he suspects that he’s his biological child. Will a DNA test prove him right? Kim fears the results could affect the boys and change everything. To make matters worse, she’s starting to suspect Joey might not be sober.
“It scares the hell out of me,” she says in the trailer after someone asks if she thinks he’s using drugs.
Melissa and Louie
Louie has been out of prison for a year and a half, and Melissa is ready for them to tie the knot. She’s pressuring him to pick out the perfect ring, but his mom, Donna, thinks the couple is moving too fast. Meanwhile, Louie is holding down multiple jobs in an effort to make Melissa’s dreams come true. But it doesn’t seem that Melissa is giving much in return.
“I would love it if you were more affectionate,” he says in the trailer.
Tennie and Robert
Rob and Tennie are trying to navigate their life together after his release. But his mom, Kate, has become a major issue in their relationship. Kate feels she was left behind to care for Tennie and her kids while Rob was behind bars, leading to a major blowup at his welcome home party.
Though Rob is torn between his wife and his mother, he’s still interested in having a child of his own with Tennie. However, she’s already had to raise two kids as a single mom and isn’t sure she wants another baby.
Justine and Michael
Familiar Love After Lockup couple Justine and Michael have moved from Pennsylvania to Las Vegas with their big blended family and their newborn, Manhattan Barbie. And they aren’t done growing their family. Justine is currently pregnant with baby No. 9!
Life After Lockup premieres Friday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on WE tv. Episodes will be available to stream on ALLBLK every Tuesday.
