Liam Gallagher savaged by fans who demand Oasis ticket refunds as he performs at Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois fight

LIAM Gallagher has been savaged by fans after his performance at the  Anthony Joshua v Daniel Dubois fight tonight.

In his first performance since announcing the long-anticipated Oasis reunion, Liam took to the stage in front of 96,000 people at Wembley Stadium ahead of Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois’s fight.

The highly-anticipated bout was for the prestigious IBF heavyweight title.

Performing a string of Oasis’s biggest hits from debut album Definitely Maybe, the three song setlist saw Liam sing Rock n Roll Star, Supersonic and Cigarettes and Alcohol.

But he failed to impress fans and they have taken to social media to demand refunds for the upcoming Oasis gigs.

One wrote: “Was that Liam Gallagher or a tribute act?”

A second said: “How many people looking for refunds after listening to this utter garbage. Liam Gallagher is done. Sounds like some dodgy impersonator.”

Another added: “If you bought Oasis tickets. Get a refund. Liam Gallagher just performed, and he sounds s***.”

A fourth commented: “Hundreds of thousands of people looking for refunds on their Oasis tickets tomorrow morning after watching this Liam Gallagher performance #VoiceIsF***ed”

Another tweeted: “I am a big fan of Oasis but Liam Gallagher sounds awful tonight!!!! Rehearsals needed!!!! Almost glad I didn’t get tickets now! #liam #joshua #aj #boxing #liamgallagher”

The short set comes as the Manchester native looks set to receive a knockout payday thanks to his multi-million pound deal to reunite with his brother Noel for an Oasis tour next year.

The pair have not performed on stage together since 2009, after a now infamous fight backstage caused Noel to walk away from the band forever.

In the years that have passed, both brothers have gone on to their own separate projects, but have been dogged with fans demanding their reunion.

In August this year, the band finally answered the prayers of millions and announced a massive UK tour in 2025.

Their announcement declared: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over.

“Come see. It will not be televised.”

The 17-date tour caused website Ticketmaster to crash and glitch as over 14million people flocked to the site to nab seats – with the stadium shows selling out within hours.

It’s now been reported that more dates may be added, including performances in the United States.
