LEWIS Capaldi has opened up about his split from his ex-girlfriend Paige Turley in a rant on live radio about her Love Island fame.
The former couple dated when they were teenagers after meeting at their local college.

After around a year-and-a-half together, their relationship ended when Paige, 27, reportedly cheated on Lewis, 28, with his best friend.
The singer’s heartbreak from their split inspired him to write his debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.
It’s also widely reported that the song Someone You Loved is about his break-up with Paige.
Not long after they parted ways Paige herself found fame.

This happened when she went on Love Island, and even won the show.
In a new interview, Lewis opened up about Paige and how he felt about her, and her stint in the famous villa.
Speaking on the New York-based radio station Z100, he said: “Let me just ask you one question.
“Are you gonna break up with me and then a couple years later go on a reality TV program in the UK and then win it so that I have to be subjected to reliving my breakup over and over again?”
The host then said to Lewis: “Back up, back up, did this happen?”
Replying, the singer said: “My ex-girlfriend from back home went on Love Island and won it.

“Yeah, Paige, she’s a lovely girl by the way.”
He then added: “I’m only joking about all that stuff. I mean it did happen.
“That’s exactly what happened. But yeah, she went on and won it and now she’s just famous in the UK.”
Paige shot to fame on the first ever winter edition of Love Island.
After finding romance with Finn Tapp, the couple went onto win the show.
However, after three years together, the pair announced their split in 2023.

DATING PAIGE
Lewis dated Paige on-and-off from 2014 to 2016 after they met at college in Motherwell and became close.
After they split up, the devastated star channelled his heartbreak into first album and coined his huge hit song, Someone You Loved.
Speaking previously about the inspiration for the record, Lewis said: “I met a lady. She was very nice. I loved her. I loved the look of her and I loved how she spoke.
“We dated for a year and a half, then she left me. Then I wrote an album about it and I still think about it every day.”
While Paige previously said of their romance: “We went out when we were younger, I was about 17 or 18.
“We were together for about a year. It ended really amicably and we’re still pals.”

‘ELECTRIC’ SEX
Lewis previously revealed that he and Paige had “electric” sex.
The Scottish singer dished details on his romps with the reality TV star on stage at Wembley Arena at a gig in March 2020.
He told crowds: “We were together for about a year and a half and we had some f***ing electric times.
“We had a spark… sparks, they were flying in the air.
“It was like, ‘touch it, oh that hurt’… do you know what I mean? Oh that was rude.
“Yeah, so I was with this person and we were doing things that you do with your partner, you know how it is.”

Lewis is now dating stunning influencer and social media star Remy O’Brien.
While Paige went Instagram official with her new love, earlier this year.
The blonde beauty is dating Kieran Tumilowicz, a scaffolder from her hometown of West Lothian.
