Now The Ting Tings have revealed their music comeback – complete with a new addition to the band’s family.

Katie White takes on the lead vocalist role while Jules De Martino played drums and lead and bass guitar.

The Shut Up And Let Me Go hitmakers were famed for foot-tapping tracks, which also included That’s Not My Name, which has been streamed more than 1.1million times.

They jetted to Ibiza in 2012 to work on new material after four singles came from their first album.

The group then fine-tuned their material in New York yet a tour scheduled for three years later was scrapped after Katie suffered a hand injury.

The Brit nominee band’s last album came in 2018, entitled The Black Light.

They have now headed back to the White Isle to work on their fifth release entitled Meadow – while also opening up on their new family dynamic.

In a cute video posted to Instagram, they added the caption: “Where have we been? Here, making the record of our lives. Get ready. J K x”

The scenes showed a blonde-haired toddler strolling around, leading one fan to quiz: “Is that a baby Ting Ting?”

During a chat with the BBC in 2022, they confirmed their happy news – with the tot dubbed “mini Ting” aged one at the time.

Katie admitted: “We never particularly spoke about it.

“We always wanted to keep it quite separate from the music, but it’s quite hard when you have literally a mini person.

“We’ve been together a long time now.”

Just this week, they posted an acoustic snippet of their new release to TikTok.

Recently, the band’s work reached a new audience as part of the That’s Not My Name TikTok challenge.

In January 2022, actors headed to TikTok to show off roles they had played throughout their careers in a creative way.

To the tune of 2008’s That’s Not My Name by Ting Tings, celebrities gave their followers snapshots of as many movie, television, or theatre roles as they could fit into a video.

The trend seemingly started with users applying the song to their pets or to themselves and switching between the nicknames they use to address whoever they feature in their video.
