Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky truly appear to be amicable despite their separation.
The estranged couple made it clear there’s no animosity between them by engaging in a playful exchange on Instagram Tuesday.
Umansky posted a photo of himself reading his new book, “The Dealmaker,” and wrote, “Can’t put my own book down lol. Who’s read the whole thing?”
Richards then responded in the comments section, “I was going to ask you why are you reading your own book again? 😆.”
The real estate broker, 53, commented back with two laughing emojis.
The reality stars announced — to the shock of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” fans — on July 3 that they were separating after 27 years of marriage.
Immediately after, however, fans began to question Richards’ relationship with country music singer Morgan Wade, with whom she has become inseparable over the past year.
Further raising eyebrows about the BFFs was the fact that Wade, 28, and Richards, 54, have matching tattoos and rings.
In a joint statement posted to their Instagram accounts, both Umansky and Richards shut down any speculation of “wrongdoing” within their marriage.

“There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part,” they wrote. “Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately.”
They added, “While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”
The statement concluded with the pair thanking their fans for “the love and support.”
Last week, Richards denied dating the “Wilder Days” singer.
“We are very good friends,” the Bravolebrity told paparazzi in West Hollywood, Calif.
When Richards was asked whether her relationship with Wade was “just a rumor,” she responded bluntly, “Yes,” and noted that she also has matching tattoos with former “RHOBH” co-star Teddi Mellencamp.
“[Wade’s] not the only one I have a matching tattoo with,” she said before driving away from the cameras.
Richards and Umansky share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. She also has an older daughter Farrah Brittany, 34, whom she welcomed with her first husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.
