Kourtney Kardashian flushed away the haters who called her “disgusting” for having plates of food in her bathroom – clarifying that it was all in the name of eating vegan.
The Poosh founder posted a controversial Instagram snap earlier this week which featured a birds-eye view of a bathtub filled with bubbles.
The basin was surrounded by plates of food like pancakes, “chicken” wings and fruity desserts, along with bottles of champagne lining the floor.
A plate with a half-eaten burger was also notably placed atop the seat of the toilet.
Kardashian, 43, responded to the backlash via her Instagram Story by re-posting the snap and writing, “the comments about this photo.” She included several swirly-eyed emojis, seemingly to express annoyance.
The “Kardashians” star then told fans that the photo was just a behind-the-scenes look at her and husband Travis Barker’s photo shoot for plant-based chicken company Daring.
Kardashian and the Blink-182 rocker, 47, had posed for the meat-free ad campaign, shot by renowned photographer Ellen von Unwerth, back in April 2022 – just days after they unofficially tied the knot in Las Vegas. They later said “I do” at a courthouse in Santa Barbara, Calif., followed by a more extravagant wedding in Italy.
The reality star’s Instagram followers expressed horror at the messy washroom laden on Tuesday, with many making the assumption that she was eating in her bathroom.

Others, however, defended the Hulu star and had no issues with her lavatory snacking.
“People are commenting about food in the bathroom but you take your phone in the bathroom and then have it at the table taking pics of your food…same difference. Let Kourt live!” an impassioned fan argued.

The Lemme creator’s polarizing pic was posted in a photo dump that included everything from a closeup shot of herself taking a bubble bath to modeling a white bikini and a velvet black tracksuit.
