In recent years, he’s refused to take the blame for the end of his marriages. He won’t admit fault for his estrangement from his children, and he doesn’t think he strung his first wife along either. While he’s lost three of his four wives, Kody Brown is still not interested in changing. Now, the reality TV star is blaming his only remaining wife, Robyn Brown, for his recent troubles.
Kody Brown blames Robyn Brown for his other marriages
A clip for an upcoming episode of Sister Wives suggests things will get tense between Kody Brown and his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, now that he no longer has the other wives around. In the clip obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Robyn Brown confronts Kody about some of his recent behavior. Kody, quick to deflect, attempts to blame Robyn Brown for keeping him attached to his ex-wives for far longer than he wanted.
In the telling moment, Kody claims Robyn Brown pressured him to work things out with his other wives because of her interest in polygamy. He doubled down on Robyn’s role in his drawn-out split from his first wife, Meri Brown. Kody insisted that Robyn told him he “couldn’t” leave. Meri seemingly backs the statement a bit. Still, the only one to blame is Kody.
Robyn Brown accuses Kody of rewriting history
Kody is busy blaming his fourth wife for his current troubles. In an interesting twist, Robyn is finally getting a taste of what Kody Brown’s other wives have dealt with over the years. In the private moment between the pair, Robyn questions if Kody is “rewriting history.”
The idea that the Brown family, specifically Kody Brown, rewrites history is nothing new. Robyn Brown was accused of doing it by Sister Wives fans seasons ago. Her decision to have a painting commissioned of Kody with her three children from a previous marriage was deemed odd. The children in the portrait were younger than when they met Kody. Fans accused the mother of five of trying to erase the Brown family history.

Kody has been accused of doing the same multiple times, especially regarding his earlier marriages. With the other wives gone, Kody and Robyn aren’t as united as they once were.
