Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, and Jared Kushner Among Guests Rumored to Be Attending Jeff Bezos’ Over-the-Top $10 Million Wedding

Dozens of bold-faced names are preparing to descend on Venice for the wedding of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to Lauren Sanchez, set to take place from June 24 to June 26.

While the guest list hasn’t been officially confirmed, the attendees are rumored to include numerous famous faces from the worlds of entertainment, politics, and business.

With a net worth of more than $200 billion, Bezos, 61, is one of the richest people in the world. Unsurprisingly, his wedding to Sanchez, 55, a former TV news personality, will be star-studded. Among those who’ve received invites to the exclusive affair are Eva Longoria, Oprah Winfrey, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Jewel, TMZ reports.

Gayle King and Katy Perry, who both accompanied Sanchez on her controversial Blue Origin space flight, are on the list, as is Perry’s husband Orlando Bloom. Also on the list are Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, as well as Jared’s brother Joshua Kushner and her his wife, model Karlie Kloss. Media mogul Barry Diller and designer Diane Von Furstenburg also scored coveted invites. The president himself might also make an appearance, The Guardian reports.

Perry, Kardashian, Jenner, and Longoria were all guests at Sanchez’s 13-person bachelorette party in Paris, People reported. Other potential wedding attendees include fellow tech mogul Bill Gates, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield,  Queen Rania of Jordan, and Wendi Murdoch, who were all guests at the couple’s 2023 engagement party, according to Page Six.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s $10 million wedding anger locals

Bezos and Sanchez are going all-out for their big day, which is rumored to be costing them roughly $10 million. With 200 guests expected, that works out to about $50,000 per person. Some guests are reportedly staying Aman Venice and the Gritti Palace, five-star hotels that cost around $500,000 per night to rent out in their entirety, according to Brides. Additional expenses include docking fees for the couple’s mega-yacht, excursions, and, of course, catering, photography, and the bride’s dress. (Sanchez’s engagement ring is estimated to be worth $2 million.)

The couple has said they want to be respectful of locals during their over-the-top three-day celebrations. But some Venetians wish they’d chosen another location for their wedding. Five of the city’s most exclusive hotels are fully booked for the event, and the pair had reserved almost all the water taxis, according to The Guardian.

“It’s going to be a great big nuisance,” a tour guide named Francesca told the outlet, adding, “We have no idea what kind of behavior to expect from this lot.”

“What bothers us is that we bend over backwards because a rich guy is coming,” a local resident activist said. “We are the city that sells itself to the highest bidder.”
