‘The Kardashians’ star spoke about developing the ‘very exciting’ new show at an event on April 22.
Khloé Kardashian has a new reality TV series in the works. The Kardashians star recently teased a new Hulu show that will focus on life in the exclusive community of Calabasas, California.
“It’s very exciting, very new, very excellent,” Khloe said while speaking on a panel at Hulu’s Get Real House on April 22 (via E! News). “We’re excited to continue developing.”
‘Calabasas Behind the Gates’ will focus on people ‘in the extended lives of the Kardashians’
The new show, which is tentatively titled Calabasas Behind the Gates, will offer a peek at “what’s happening behind the gates of Calabasas,” Disney reality chief Rob Mills explained during the panel. “Who are all these people in the extended lives of the Kardashians?”
It’s not clear if any of Khloé’s famous relatives – including her sisters Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner and her mom Kris Jenner – would be involved in the project.
The new show would extend the Kardashian’s partnership with Hulu. In 2022, the family moved from E! to the streamer with their new show, The Kardashians. The series recently wrapped up its sixth season and has been renewed for season 7.
In addition to The Kardashians and Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloé has also starred in Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons, Khloé and Lamar, Kocktails With Khloé, and Revenge Body With Khloé Kardashian. She was also the executive producer of the Investigation Discovery true crime series Twisted Sisters.
